Why can I not Open   to create a <<New Script>>?

• Answer:  The user must select either the field level or Crop Zone from the Domain Tree in Field360 in order for the Open  button to become accessible.

Why can I not see a Crop Zone when creating a <<New Script>> in the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool?

• Answer:  The user must select the crop zone from the Domain Tree in Field360 before accessing the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool.  Crop Zones can also be added manually within the tool if the user did not select the Crop Zone before opening the tool OR adding additional Crop Zones

How do I create a multi-year recommendation?

• Answer:  Under the Crop Zones tab in the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool:
• Crop Zones must be built for each year for multi-year rec
  • 2019 >> Select Current Crop under Year drop-down in Commodity details
  • 2020 >>  Select Current +1 Crop under Year drop-down in Commodity details
•  Pre-Surface
  • Calculation will create values for corn (Current year) crop zone, create values for soybeans (Current +1) crop zone, then add values together to create recommendation layer
    • Recommendation layer lives under current year crop zone
•  Surfacing
  • Add surfacing parameters if desired

How do I create a recommendation for 2 different crops on the same field within the same year?

• Answer:  Scenario:  Winter Wheat and Soybeans
  • Crop Zones must be created within crop year with sequence under the field level in the Domain Tree within Field360
    • Wheat = Sequence 1
    • Soybeans = Sequence 2
  • Calculator must have appropriate crop variables
    • Wheat conditional
    • Soybeans conditional
  • Under the Crop Zones tab in the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool:
    • Add Wheat commodity and set to Sequence 1 under Commodity details
    • Add Soybeans commodity and set to Sequence 2 under Commodity details

How do I include my custom Yield Goal/Target from the Encirca website Field Setup?

• Answer:  Under the Crop Zones tab in the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool:
  • Select/Check Yield from layer
  • Select Encirca Decision Zones from the Layer drop-down
  • Select <expression> from the Calculator drop-down
  • Type in this exact expression into the Expression dialog box:  YieldTarget

Why is my Fertility calculator is not showing up in the Pre-Surface or Post-Surface tab?

• Answer:  Please verify that you have imported the Fertility calculator that you have intended to use into Field360 and the calculator is a Nutrient Rate "Scope" calculator.  If not, it can be imported into Field360 using the Calculators tool under Setup>>Calculators>>Import.

How do I adjust the Surfacing parameters of my recommendation?

• Answer:  Click on the Surfacing tab within the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool and click on Create layer as surface .  Click on this link for info on surfacing parameters.

How do I add multiple years worth of Crop Removal?

• Answer:  
  • Click on the Crop Removal tab within the Advanced Nutrient Recommendations tool and click on Include crop removal (requires surfacing).  
  • Click the drop-down for Start year and select your start range under Crop Year Range.
  • Click the drop-down for End year and select your end range under Crop Year Range.
  • Note, if using negative ranges, your Start year (Current -3) must be greater than your End year (Current -1).  Vice versa if you are using positive ranges.
