How do I make a custom theme in Field360 Studio?
Overview:
Themes are a way to visualize data and attributes. They allow users to define the colors and the number of breaks in data. They do not alter the values in recommendation layers, impact the values sent to a controller, or have agronomic value.
Requirements:
- Farms and fields created.
- Crop zone layers created.
- A recommendation layer for the attribute you’re trying to visualize.
Process:
- Click on the Setup menu.
- Select Themes from the drop-down list.
- To create a custom theme, click Add on the Theme Editor dialog.
- Enter a Theme Name.
- The theme name must match the attribute name exactly.
- Select a Type of Theme.
- Range - Numerical Data broken into ranges.
- Value - Nominal data sorted by group.
- Default - used for domain themes.
- Select the Domain where this theme should be available.
- Click OK
- This will open the Range Theme Editor.
- Choose a Decimal Values. Ex: If you want whole numbers put 0.
- Next can choose between Fixed Range style or a Dynamic Range style.
- Fixed Range style allows you to define more items.
- Dynamic Range style you are limited to the amount or parameters you can set.
- Fixed Range Style - Choose one of the following:
- Gradient- Set your minimum and maximum
- Choose between Standard and Custom theme colors. Click Next.
- If wanted, you can go even further and set a Default Style. Click Finish.
- Equal Ranges- Enter your values for your Ranges, Minimum, and Interval
- Choose your Distinct Ranges.
- If wanted, you can go even further and set a Default Style. Click Finish.
- Choose your Distinct Ranges.
- Custom Breaks- you can build a legend from scratch
- Choose your Distinct Ranges. Under Style you can choose Custom, Web, System for your color values.
- If wanted, you can go even further and set a Default Style. Click Finish.

- Gradient- Set your minimum and maximum
- Dynamic Range - Choose one of the following:
- Gradient - Click Next.
- Choose either Standard or Custom Gradient Themes. Click Next.
- If wanted, you can go even further and set a Default Style. Click Finish.

- Equal Range - Choose your range between 2 and 10. Click Next.
- Distinct Ranges allows you to change the colors of your Style. Click Next.
- If wanted, you can go even further and set a Default Style. Click Finish.

- Equal Count - Choose your range between 2 and 10. Click Next.
- Distinct Ranges allows you to change the Style color for your sources. Click Next.
