How to use previous year recommendation in a ‘Balanced’ product recommendation?
Overview:
The other applications tab within Nutrient Formulator allows users to account for other applications that may have been applied to the field prior to formulating a new product recommendation. This article will walk you through how to account for your previous years product recommendation.
Requirements:

Farms, fields, and cropzones created.
-
Nutrient Recommendation Layer created.
-

Process:
-
Locate the Product Recommendation layer you want to account for in the correct crop year (ex. 2019).
- Right-click the layer and navigate to Copy Layers (s) >> Copy as a New Layer
- A window will populate with an option to rename the layer. If you do nothing and continue it will add ‘Copy’ to the end of the original layer name. If you wish to change the name, do so here. Otherwise, proceed by selecting OK.
- This will create a layer in the current location (ex. Crop Zone). You will then need to move this layer to the ‘Field Level’ to access in another crop year.
