My John Deere and AgFiniti FAQ

Q: Will I see data I've already post-calibrated in a 3rd party I've connected to Granular?

A: 

• John Deere - yes, for wet-weight post-calibration, seed variety and rate changes flow into G.A. 
• AgFiniti - no

Q: Do we pull boundaries from wirelessly-connected third parties? 

A: 

• John Deere - optionally, if "Import Boundaries" is active under Manage Data > Connections. 
• AgFiniti - no

Q: What data do we pull from wirelessly-connected third parties? 

A: 

• John Deere -
  • The "linked" machine data visible under the Field Analyzer
  • Optionally, pull boundaries if we receive data for a field without an existing boundary
  • Optionally, financial layers if "send financial layers" is active under Manage Data > Connections 
• AgFiniti - 
  • The original machine data in .agdata format, either sent to AgFiniti wirelessly or manually.

Q: Can I send Nitrogen or Seeding Rx files to wirelessly-connected third parties? 

A:

• John Deere - yes
• AgFiniti - no, this is not supported at this time. 

When you choose a compatible file format, the option to send to the third party appears under "Delivery Type."
