What Are The Differences Between The FieldOp Export Options in Field360 Studio?

Overview:

Once machine-recorded harvest, planting, and application data (also known as 'FieldOp' data) is available in Field360 Studio, it has changed from the format it was at the time of upload. Even so, we can pull this data from Field360. This article will explain the differences between each export option that appears under the FieldOp Menu.

TIP: If you want to move data from Field360 Studio, to AgStudio (a retail version of Field360), use the Transfer FieldOp option.

Prerequisites:

Access to Field360 Studio with permission to view advanced tools.
FieldOp data uploaded and linked (visible in the domain tree).

Process:

Log in to Field360 Studio.
Load a grower using the Grower window.
Open the FieldOP drop-down menu.
Select one of the following data export options, explained in more detail below:
- Export As FieldOps
- Export Attributed Yield Data
- Export Harvest
- Transfer FieldOp

Data Export Options:

Transfer FieldOp:

This option is for Studio-to-Studio transfers, most notable, for moving FieldOp data between Field360 Studio and AgStudio. See this article for full instructions. Example output:

Export Harvest:

This option exports harvest data in standard formats: as a shapefile, CSV, or comma-delimited text file. These generic options may be compatible with other programs, and include point-by-point values used to calculate yield. Example output:

Export Attributed Yield Data (Shapefile Option):

This option produces a processed shapefile format which includes yield averages by region (from the monitor) along with some soil data (as MuSym) and drainage data (as EnClass). The shapefile does not include a Lat/Long attribute.

TIP: Do not use the Text file option. This results in a type of DAT file which is not compatible with any other program.

This option is a troubleshooting tool with the least utility for most users.

This option produces a JSON in the format used by Field360 and AgStudio to display linked yield data. It is unique to our system. It is not compatible with any other precision agronomy software. Example output:
